Doolally Taproom
Established in 2009, Doolally Taproom started out as Pune’s first microbrewery. Six years after opening its first outlet, the microbrewery opened its doors for Mumbaikars in 2015 with an outlet in Bandra (that later shifted to Khar). With a wide variety of snacks on their menu, Doolally Taproom is known for their fresh in-house brewed beers that are worth a try. Popular beers on their menu include Apple Cider, Belgian Wit, Marzen, English Bitter, English Brown Ale, Brut IPA and Raunch Bier. Doolally Taproom is preferred by many also because of its simple yet modern interiors and the range of board and card games. Toit originally hails from Bangalore and opened in Mumbai in late November of 2017 replacing the iconic Blue Frog. It quickly became popular amongst Mumbaikars due to its funky interiors and its signature beers. Toit’s beers are handcrafted at their brewery located in Sanaswadi, Pune. Toit believes in experimenting and providing their customers with new tastes, thus their beers are made with natural ingredients, imported malt, and yeast without the use of chemicals, colour and preservatives. The beers in their menu include Basmati Blonde, Tin Tin Toit, Toit Weiss, Colonial Toit, Kilnaleck Red and Dark Night. Apart from all the beers they also have some amazing cocktails and mango-infused beer. Located right across from Toit, Thirsty City 127 took over Mumbai’s first brew-pub The Barking Deer.
