7 Mother’s Day Recipes You Need To Try By Using Glenmorangie And Moët & Chandon

Mother’s Day is around the corner and we understand you want her to feel special. But beyond the obvious food or chocolate deliveries and flower arrangements, there’s something else that you may not have thought of. How about turning bartender for the day and whipping up some delicious drinks for mom? Not only does she truly get to unwind but you also get brownie points for your cocktail skills. Here are seven recipes you can try from that use Glenmorangie whisky and Moet & Chandon champagne, both widely available and absolute gems on their own.

Glenmorangie Cocktails

Matheson Sour

Ingredients:

50 ml – Glenmorangie Original

25 ml – freshly squeezed lemon juice

10 ml – Elderflower cordial

10 ml – Orgeat syrup

1 dash – Aromatic Bitters

Garnish: Flamed Orange Twist

Directions:

Shake all the ingredients with cubed ice in a cocktail shaker.

Double strain into a glass.

Finish with flamed orange zest.

Glassware: Coupe

The Original Mizuari

Ingredients:

50 ml – Glenmorangie Original

5 ml – Benedictine Juice

15 ml – Lime juice

10 ml – Honey

50 ml – Coconut Water

50 ml – Sparkling Water

Garnish – Long Twist

Directions:

Build ingredients over cubed ice in glass, then stir to combine.

Garnish with a long twist of Orange zest.

Glassware: Highball

Lasanta Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

50 ml – Glenmorangie Lasanta

4 dashes – Aromatic Bitters

1 bar spoon – Brown sugar

Garnish – Orange Twist

Directions:

Combine the ingredients in glass.

Mix and muddle to dissolve sugar

Add ice and stir to chill and slightly dilute

Finish with an orange twist

Moët & Chandon Cocktails

Impérial 1869

Ingredients:

15ml – Agave Syrup

2 Dashes – Grapefruit Bitters

1 Dash – Orange Flower Water

100ml – Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial Champagne

Directions:

Pour all the ingredients into the coupe glass and top with Champagne. Garnish with edible flowers.

La Favorite

Ingredients:

10ml – Benedictine

15ml – Lemon Juice

Directions:

Add the first three ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake with cubed ice and strain into a champagne flute and top with Champagne.

French 75

Ingredients:

15ml – Lemon Juice

10ml – Sugar Syrup

25ml – Belvedere Vodka

75ml – Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial

Directions:

Shake everything except the Champagne and strain into a highball glass. Top with the Champagne and garnish with either a lemon slice or zest and serve with a smile.

Punch Romaine

Ingredients:

25ml – White rum

20ml – White wine

10ml – simple syrup

10ml – lemon juice

20ml – fresh orange juice

1 egg white

75ml – Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial

Directions:

In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine egg white, rum, wine, simple syrup, lemon and orange juice and shake with cubed ice. Mold crushed ice into a ball and place in a large coupe glass, and pour drink around it and top with champagne. Garnish with orange peel.
